-Lauds AMA’s dynamism, representation.
The Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ikorodu Division, Comrade Japheth Odesanya, has stated with confidence that residents of Ikorodu Division, come 2027 will vote en mass for the re – election of President Bola Tinubu, because he has supported their representatives from Ikorodu to give quality representation.
On this basis, Comrade Odesanya, asserted that Ikorodu will repay Tinubu who has approved massive road, health, school, market and other projects including empowerment and human capital development for representatives from Ikorodu Federal Constituency which has been impacting positively on the people.
He spoke during his visit to Hon. (Dr.) Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), representative of Ikorodu Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, as part of his consultation with stakeholders across the division.
“Ikorodu owes Asiwaju Tinubu so much. He has enabled our representatives to dazzle us by way of approving their projects. What I have been seeing is that Rep. Babajimi Benson has been facilitating despite the fact that he is not in the executive arm of government – roads, school projects, medical facilities, market projects and empowerment among many others. This is also the same with Sen. Tokunbo Abiru who has been facilitating projects across Lagos East.
“Realistically speaking, Tinubu has done a lot and he is doing so much. He has introduced restructuring of the polity to reposition Nigeria which has been impacting, this is why we need to engage our people in political education and cavass them to support his re – election massively.
“So, we are going out to meet stakeholders as our first line of consultation. This is to carry everyone along and tap from their knowledge and experiences. This is how we are trying to get the best and use it to achieve the best,” he said.
He lauded AMA for his vibrant and quality representation within a short space of time, stating that he has had a lot of positive impact on many constituents.
“I must commend your vibrant, articulate and quality representation which has impacted and still impacts on many constituents. That is why we have come to you as a major stakeholder because we are going to use your achievement as part of our campaign for Tinubu.
“The task that we have been given is a big task; big responsibility and we cannot afford to fail and that is why we are partnering with stakeholders. We have come to you as a leader and stakeholder not to sell Asiwaju to you because you are his disciple, but to carry you along, partner and seek your support.”
He lauded AMA further, “I don’t know how you are doing all your empowerment as a state lawmaker. They have been massive and truly impacting on the people. Your ability to multitask and dynamism are also commendable.
“Let me specially commend your dynamism and your representative capacity in carrying your people along and making them always smile. I commend you,” Comrade Odesanya said.
In his remarks, Hon. Aro Moshood expressed happiness at the mandate given to Comrade Odesanya whom he described as capable and up to the task to deliver on the assignment.
He commended the way he has been consulting with stakeholders.
“I am happy with those that nominated and approved your nomination for this position. I am also impressed with the way that you have been going round to meet stakeholders and carry them along. I have no doubt that those that facilitated your emergence will be proud of you.
“You are among the right people that should be saddled with a responsibility of this magnitude and you have shown with the way that you are moving around and creating positiveness. I want to really thank you and again, I want to emphasise that those that nominated you will be happy with the way and manner that you are handling it.
“I want to thank you for your efforts so far and I am sure that leaders are pleased with the way you are handling and I have no doubt that some by now are saying that they should have given you bigger responsibilities before now.
“Since your appointment has been announced, you didn’t sit down and fold your hands, rather, you have been moving around telling stakeholders that you want to work with them to achieve the mandate that has been entrusted to you.”
The State lawmaker described Comrade Odesanya’s appointment as well deserved and one that comes with much expectations. He assured him of his full support.
“Your coming on board is an added advantage to the APC and I am sure that you will assist greatly in ensuring that Ikorodu Division meets its target. You have started doing that by reaching out to those that you want to work together with and it is only through team work that we can achieve good results.
“You must continue to meet with leaders to reiterate and emphasise your thoughts and action plans on how to achieve the Renewed Hope Agenda in Ikorodu. You cannot do it alone, so, you need committed people like you that understand the terrain and can engage issues.
“Once again, I want to assure you of total support in Ikorodu Constituency II. We will do everything to cooperate and partner with you. As the Divisional Ambassador for the Renewed Hope, you have come to make the job easier for us to achieve. It is an added advantage and your capability is already speaking for you by the way that you have been reaching out,” AMA said.
“I want to assure you of my full support and you will definitely have good hands.”
AMA Charged RHA Coordinator on working with the party structure in Ikorodu in ensuring that about 90, 000 registered APC members and thousands of other electorates in Ikorodu vote in the next General Elections to return President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates with massive votes.
He emphasised the need for Ikorodu to have more polling units to accommodate the influx of more people into the division.
The state lawmaker also urged Comrade Odesanya to always share his experience and thoughts on his assignment with major stakeholders.
